Some of you may know I’m a big fish fan (as in ‘fish are friends, not food!’) from small clown fish to the big whales and sharks. When I first saw this big fish (+/- 70cm length) on our honeymoon in the shallow waters of the Maldives I wasn’t aware about it’s capabilities… I was swimming with it for about 15 minutes because it’s a beautiful fish, was not scared and the eyes can move separately from each other. Also when I first spotted it it was eating a worm it found in the sand and I decided to wait until it found another worm, that would make a nice photograph.

Yesterday I was in the local scuba diving team house and we were wondering what fish it was.. The following morning I started to investigate. Seems to be a Titan Triggerfish. This fish will attack anything if they are protecting their eggs also it seems their bite is poisonous and can cause heart attacks and even paralysis. (read more at It’s Nature).
